Antelope is like Grandsire, but has 4-5 places instead of dodges in the plain course. Note that the effect of making 5ths and lying behind is that you do 3 blows in 5ths place altogether.

If you are at the back when a Bob or a Single is called, then the familiar double-dodge from Grandsire becomes a place-dodge-place, which has the same effect on what you do next time. For instance, if you are in the hunt, in Grandsire you would have double-dodged 4-5 down. Here you do 3 in 5ths, dodge, then 4ths and go in. As in Grandsire, your next work will be 4-5 up.
If you are at the front, the work is the same as in Grandsire. At a Bob, both bells make 3rds; at a Single, you get 2nds and long 3rds.
